On the road: Farewell Colorado

What a wonderful trip! Today's pic is from the dashboard on our way home. This is somewhere in Kansas. Definitely a barren state (esp. the western side) but not as boring as people say it is. It felt like we were looking at a sea of land at times.

In a crazy turn of events I was also able to visit with my brother who I haven't seen since my wedding (and since his return from deployment in Afganistan). Thus the second (some might say bonus) photo of the day!
