Christmas Roadtrip and Photo a Day

Happy New Year!! We drove from Enterprise, AL to Monument, Colorado for Christmas this year. Mucho fun road trip for sure! A long-needed vacation for both of us. We missed being with our families but this little getaway has been just wonderful.

New Year's Resolution: photo a day project! I will take and post a photo for each day of 2010. So far that's been easy (the photo taking part of it) since we're still on vacation and I am in a target rich environment for photos.

January 1, 2010: Me and my 'cousin-sisters' Cathy (left) and Carol (middle). Started the new year right - with family!

January 2, 2010: US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. We enjoyed a tour of the campus (which was much smaller than we thought) and even experienced a Michael Phelps sighting!
