July 3, 2010 - Turtle Turtle
Fenway had her eye on something in the back yard area so I checked it out. There was a rustling in the leaves and then I spotted it. This Eastern Box Turtle. He only had three legs so I figured he wasn't going to move fast (I mean, he's a turtle!). So I got the good camera out and snapped some photos. He was a very cooperative subject.

Your wonderful son bought me a new camera this Christmas and I LOVE it! It's a Pentax K-X digital SLR with two lenses. This was taken with the zoom. It has good bells and whistles and yet is easy peasy to use. I had this set on "Automatic Setting" ....the bad pics on my blog are usually taken with my phone! A shame since I have this amazing camera! :)
