February 27, 2010 - When the Moon Hits Your Eye...


We have gorgeous sunsets here. Sometimes it pays to look in the other direction and see the moonrise. The sky was a midnight blue with some whispy pink clouds but that didn't translate as well in the photo. No matter...look at that moon!

Thanks! Telephoto lens...good light. The moon was very low to the landscape so appeared very large.

Cropping was my friend here (and a teeny bit of color enhancement so that the moon's features stood out more).

Both of you (Tawnya and Christine) have amazing (AMAZING, I say!) talent with this stuff. Love you both!
