February 11, 2010 - Snow??? Really?

So if the weather predictions are correct, we could get 2-4 inches of snow in Enterprise, AL, tomorrow! Enterprise is no stranger to snow but the last significant snowfall was in 1993 (according to the Enterprise Ledger). The schools and government offices are closed. Now before my northern readers judge or make any comments about how much snow they've already endured this winter: 2-4 inches of snow is a big deal to a town with lots of country roads and not very many plows.

So we brought the car 'brush' inside so we can clean the cars tomorrow morning and I, for one, am excited to see some snow. The camera will be coming to work with me tomorrow!

On Wednesday we up here were to get a predicted 4-8 inches snow north of Boston. By Thursday morning we had barely a quarter inch of snow, if that, at our house. Weatherman strikes again. (Not to say the DC area didn't get walloped, thou)
