May 7, 2010 - The Rawls

This is the shining culinary gem in Enterprise, AL. Aside from our friend, Bruce, that is, who is an outstanding cook. We eat here often, with Bruce. Our 'regular' is their country fried steak with a good red wine. This is no ordinary country fried steak, people. They take a ribeye and pound it out and then they coat it and fry it. It is so huge you could take a nap under it. It is so delicious you will find yourself daydreaming about it. Tonight was no exception. The Rawls is a historical landmark and deservedly so. Rumor has it, it is also haunted!
