April 11, 2010 - Parsley


Sage, Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Chives and Lavender. All growing in my container garden! I had fun inventing a little chicken and pasta dinner tonight using fresh herbs, leftover wine (white zin...too sweet) and Boursin cheese. Not bad at all. I love having the fresh herbs so easily accessible (4 of which have been in my garden since last year and have come back to life with the warmer weather.)

I am not a cilantro hater. In fact - I should grow some because I love nothing more than some mango salsa. I'm growing jalapenos and would definitely need some fresh cilantro. :)

(Mango salsa goes amazing with grilled salmon, by the way. I have a brown sugar, soy glaze recipe posted on my FB page. It's a must try.)
