March 16, 2010 - Five Fingers for Me


I know you've all been waiting for this. I finally got my own Five Fingers. Chris really likes his so when he asked me today if I wanted a pair I said "Sure!" They're actually quite cool! I wore them while walking Fenway this evening. So far I like them. So does Fenway.

i'd be interested to hear how you enjoy running in them...the debate is a hot topic in the running world and i haven't been daring enough to try them. (also, i haven't had funds to purchase a pair...esp if i don't end up liking them!)

I haven't run in them yet. But I do walk the dog in them (a 2+ mile walk). So far it's an adjustment to walking toe/heel (I am a heavy heel walker). So my ankles and calves are feeling it tonight.

They're fun so far! I am becoming less of a 'heel walker'....

I bought these little jobbers at a store called Eagle Eye Outfitters in Dothan, Alabama.

My husband is already a fan of them on Facebook! :)
